Cinque Terre Limo TourThe Cinque Terre (Five Towns) is a coastal region about 2hrs North-West of Florence, famous for its 5 villages: Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso.
These quaint villages with their brightly colored houses (supposedly painted in bright colors so the fishermen could see their own house when out at sea..), are placed in a truly impressive natural scenario with steep, terraced hills that decline into the blue Mediterranean sea.
The ruggedness of the landscape and consequent inaccessibility of these villages has preserved them from modern development. The area has such historic and natural uniqueness that it has been declared a national park and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Logistics of Cinque Terre Limo Tour
Our Private Limo service will take you directly (2hr ride) from Florence to Riomaggiore, from which you can start your tour of the Cinque Terre.
Once there, the best way for you to travel between these towns and truly experience the Cinque Terre is by a combination of walking + using the local trains/ferries. The trains run very often (ie 15-20 min), are inexpensive and take just a couple of minutes to connect between one town and the next. The inland roads that connect the towns on the other hand are often scenic but also narrow and tortuous.
Don't worry. We will be waiting and ready to help should you need our assistance. Once finished exploring, at the end of the day we will pick you up at an arranged location and take you back directly to your hotel/apartment in Florence.
Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso all offer possibilities for having lunch, often with panoramic views. Local specialties include the local seafood, olive oil and locally produced Sciachetrà sweet wine, made from the steeply terraced vineyards you will have driven through on the way in.
